Manual Handling, Abrasive Wheels & Working at Height: These Three courses have been combined to save participants time and money.
All three courses can be completed in one day. The Manual Handling course is held in the morning and the Abrasive Wheels & Working at Height in the afternoon. The courses can also be attended separately.
Manual Handling
Description: Morning
This course is a legal requirement for companies whose employees are at risk of back injury from activities in the workplace. All employees must be trained in manual handling techniques at least once every three years as per the General Applications Regulations 2007 ( Part 2 Chapter 4).
Abrasive Wheels
Description: Afternoon
Abrasive Wheels is a 4 hour course and has been designed to provide delegates with a thorough understanding of the relevant operational and safety requirements applicable to the use and mounting of Abrasive Wheels in the workplace.To ensure that the participants have a clear understanding of the importance of safety whilst mounting and using Abrasive Wheels.
On completion of the course the operators will be able to:

Working at Height Training
This Working at Height training course helps you to comply with the Work at Height Regulations 2005 by providing employers and employees with the necessary information needed to be able to successfully deal with working at height risks and control measures. This includes an understanding of how to undertake a working at height risk assessment, how to use access equipment safely and how to ensure that employees can reduce their risk of falls from height.
