Manual Handling
TRAINING COURSE
This course is a legal requirement for companies whose employees are at risk of back injury from activities in the workplace. All employees must be trained in manual handling techniques at least once every three years as per the General Applications Regulations 2007 ( Part 2 Chapter 4).

- The Eight Principles of Manual Handling
- Manual Handling Risk Assessment
- Manual Handling Practical Sessions
Qualification Achieved: Successful candidates will receive a Safe-T-Group Manual Handling Certificate of Training.
Funding maybe available to eligible Learners.
The course contains elements of classroom-based practical work. Attendees should wear loose, comfortable clothing to allow them to participate in the practical elements of the course as well as closed flat shoes or runners.
