Safe-T-Group have been involved in many projects across the country in the role of the Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) managing this role on behalf of our clients in a number of industries. The benefit of using Safe-T-Group as the PSDP on your project is we are independent of any designers working on the project so have can give a non-biased service to ensure all designers are complying with the requirements of the Construction Regulations 2013.

We have completed large and small scale PSDP Projects across a wide range of industries for our large client base.

 

As the PSDP for our projects we provide the following services

 

• Ensure designers comply with their duties – particularly in respect to the avoidance and reduction of risk while adhering to the General Principles of Prevention
• Clients are fulfilling their duty by successfully determining the competence of Designers and the PSCS while sufficiently allocating resources
• The Preliminary Health and Safety Plan is prepared in a timely manner so that it can be used by the PSCS in preparation of their Construction Stage Health & Safety Plan
• The project is notified to the HAS via the AF1 Form
• Review and approve Design Risk Assessments
• Carry out Design Risk Assessment Review Workshop with all designers
• Review the Temporary Works Register and any Design associated with Temporary Works during the construction stage.
• Regular Site Visits during the construction stage.
• The Safety File is prepared and promptly delivered to the Client at the end of the project

 

Safe-T-Group can also act as the Health and Safety Co-Ordinator for the appointed PSDP carrying out the above services on their behalf.
