The course is arranged in seven modules:
- Patient Assessment
- CFR Community
- Common Medical Emergencies
- Injury Management & Shock
- Care of the Unconscious Patient
- Burns & Electrical Injury Care
- Slings and Bandaging

- Practical Assessment
- This is an approved PHECC Community First Response certification by Safe-T-Group in conjunction with Optima Training by Affiliation
“Students should be physically fit enough to carry out chest compression on a manikin while kneeling. It is a requirement that students demonstrate effective compressions and ventilations during the class” in the course outline
